Contest summary
Already home to many male and female artists, Avex is looking for young men aged 15 to 23 years old from around the world to be members of a new male dance and vocal unit!
We’re aiming to create an international group that includes some of the top dancers in the world, as well as members who can sing, dance, and perform in Japanese, English, Chinese, or other languages. We want ambitious, motivated individuals who are up for a challenge and full of curiosity. This is an especially big chance for those who can speak languages other than Japanese as well as sing, rap, and/or dance, so please make that clear in your application.

Winners
From 2019 through 2020, winners will make their Japanese and international debut as a member of a new group! They will also receive free lessons from world-class dance and vocal instructors, and training in Japan and around the world for their big debut.
Materials required for application
- ・Applicants must write their name, home address, email address, phone number, citizenship, a promotional self-introduction, and other information on their application form.
- ・2 photographs (full body, portrait shot from the chest up)
- ・Send a 3-minute or shorter video of the applicant singing (RAP also acceptable). As long as the applicant is singing, any format is fine: Karaoke machine, piano or guitar accompaniment, acapella, etc.
Any song is acceptable.
